Week 5 of the 2025 NFL season is upon us and the action continue on Sunday with the Tennessee Titans heading west to meet the Arizona Cardinals at 4:05 p.m. ET on CBS.

The Titans are one of three teams that remain winless at the start of October and were blanked in a 26-0 road loss at the Texans last Sunday. Rookie wide receiver Elic Ayomanor managed to make a modest contribution as the entire offense struggled in the AFC South showdown.

Below, we’ll go over Ayomanor’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 5.

Fantasy Football analysis: Titans WR Elic Ayomanor

Ayomanor caught two of seven targets for 44 yards in last week’s loss to the Texans. This line actually led all Titans pass-catchers in the contest, illustrating just how much the offense is struggling to find a rhythm at the moment.

Even with just 12 receptions through four games, the rookie is still a top-40 fantasy wideout in both standard and PPR leagues, making him a borderline Flex option in most leagues. Something to note is that he got 14 more snaps than struggling veteran Calvin Ridley last week, a possible sign that he is gradually being elevated as Tennessee’s top receiver option. Keep tabs on his usage.

Start or sit in Week 5 Standard leagues?

Start. Tennessee is in a race to the bottom for a second straight year and No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward is already frustrated with how things are going in Nashville. This is an opportunity for the team to experiment with different things to see what works and that includes more snaps and targets for the rookie Ayomanor. The Cardinals’ pass defense has been middling so far this season and I could easily see the wideout getting enough looks to be a worthwhile Flex option this week.

Start or sit in Week 5 PPR leagues?

Start.
