Week 5 of the 2025 NFL season is upon us and the action continue on Sunday with the Tennessee Titans heading west to meet the Arizona Cardinals at 4:05 p.m. ET on CBS.
Kyler Murray start or sit: Week 5 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of Kyler Murray ahead of the Cardinals’ Week 5 matchup against the Titans.

The Cardinals are back in action after taking a 23-20 loss to the Seahawks last Thursday, a game where they fell victim to a last-second field goal to fall to 2-2 on the year. Quarterback Kyler Murray experienced highs and lows in the primetime showdown and he’ll try to get Arizona back above .500 this week.
Below, we’ll go over Murray’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 5.
Fantasy Football analysis: Cardinals QB Kyler Murray
Murray went 27-41 for 200 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions last Thursday, adding an additional 41 yards on the ground in the loss. The notable stat from this divisional battle was the veteran QB taking six sacks throughout the night, upping his total to 13 for the year which is tied for the third-highest in the entire NFL. Chuck Harris of Cardswire pointed out that Murray is responsible for five of them, so he’s putting the “sacks are a QB stat” adage to the test.
Fortunately for him, he’s going up against a Tennessee defense that gotten to the quarterback just four times in four games, so his back shouldn’t be hitting the turf as much as it did last Thursday.
Start or sit in Week 5?
Start. The Titans have been abysmal and they should serve as the “get right” game for QB’s like Murray moving forward. He’s currently stands as the No. 15 fantasy QB for the season and I expect him to put up numbers that will land him in the top 10 for Week 5.
