Week 6 of the 2025 NFL season is already upon us and the action will continue on Sunday with the Seattle Seahawks making a cross-country trip to meet the Jacksonville Jaguars at 1 p.m. ET on FOX.
Trevor Lawrence start or sit: Week 6 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of Trevor Lawrence ahead of the Jaguars’ Week 6 matchup vs. the Seahawks.

The Jags were able to triumph in a chaotic Monday night showdown against the Chiefs this past week, slipping past the AFC power in the final minute for a 31-28 victory. Celebrating his 26th birthday, quarterback Trevor Lawrence ended up being the hero for the Jags in one of the clumsiest fashions you’ll ever see.
Below, we’ll go over Lawrence’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 6.
Fantasy Football analysis: Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence
Lawrence was literally all over the place in Monday’s win over the Chiefs, racking up 221 passing yards and 54 rushing yards with three total touchdowns and turnovers. Of course, his final touchdown of the game is what will be remembered and by now, you’ve probably watched the clip of him stumbling, recovering, and running for the go-ahead score in the final minute no less than 50 times. Truly something out of the old NFL Films blooper reels and hey, the Jags are 4-1 because of it.
Lawrence earned 27.2 fantasy points in the contest, finishing as the No. 5 fantasy QB for the week. The former No. 1 overall pick has run hot and cold so far this season, at times playing sloppy and careless while other times showing exactly why he’s the face of the franchise in Duval County.
Start or sit in Week 6?
Start. The Seahawks have a bottom 10 defensive passing EPA heading into this matchup and have given up the sixth-most passing yards this season at 1,289. Those numbers may be slightly skewed by their chaotic shootout with the Bucs last Sunday, but that does present an opportunity for Lawrence to get some work done through the air in this one. Jacksonville has some momentum going after Monday’s statement win and I’d give Lawrence a start even with the knowledge that he may cough the ball up a few times.
