Week 6 of the 2025 NFL season is already upon us and the action will continue on Sunday with the Los Angeles Rams making a cross-country trip to meet the Baltimore Ravens at 1 p.m. ET on FOX.

The Ravens’ once promising season is imploding in spectacular fashion right in front of our eyes and the Lamar Jackson-less group was thoroughly dominated in a 44-10 blowout loss against the Texans last Sunday. Among the myriad of problems the team has faced is veteran running back Derrick Henry not being nearly as dominant as he was last season, even struggling at times to pick up yards on the ground.

Below, we’ll go over Henry’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 6.

Fantasy Football analysis: Ravens RB Derrick Henry

Henry took 15 carries for just 33 yards against the Rams last Sunday, punching in a third-quarter garbage time touchdown that tied him with Walter Payton for the fifth-most rushing touchdowns in NFL history. The future Hall of Famer has been held in check since his Week 1 explosion, failing to to get above 50 rushing yards in each of Baltimore’s last four games.

His 317 yards and four touchdowns for the year has still made him a solid RB2 option in most fantasy leagues, but it’s a significant disappointment considering that he was the consensus No. 11 overall pick heading into the year. And it’s a huge drop-off from this point last year where he was leading the league in rushing and making a case for NFL Offensive Player of the Year.

Opposing defenses have made it a point to try to shut him down with an average of 7.90 defenders in the box, the highest average among running backs with at least 50 carries this season. Henry has still managed 4.95 yards per carry, but he’s been inefficient with just a 34.38% success rate. And even some of his more positive numbers may be skewed by that opener against the Bills.

Start or sit in Week 6 Standard leagues?

Sit. I can’t believe that I’m saying this, but yes, you should sit Henry down for this week. The Ravens are a disaster without Jackson on the field and given Cooper Rush’s limitations, teams will just keep loading the box to cut off Henry’s ability to get loose. Look elsewhere for someone to stick into your RB1 slot this week.

Start or sit in Week 6 PPR leagues?

Sit.
