Week 6 of the 2025 NFL season is already upon us and the action will continue on Sunday night with the Detroit Lions paying a visit to the Kansas City Chiefs at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC.
Hollywood Brown start or sit: Week 6 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of Hollywood Brown ahead of the Chiefs’ Week 6 matchup vs. the Lions.

The Chiefs are trying to get back to .500 on the year following their 31-28 road loss at the Jaguars on Monday, a game where they allowed Trevor Lawrence to stumble, get back up, and run in the go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter. Wide receiver Hollywood Brown made a decent contribution in the loss and we’ll see if he’ll factor into this week’s primetime showdown at Arrowhead Stadium.
Below, we’ll go over Browns’ outlook in fantasy football for Week 6.
Fantasy Football analysis: Lions WR Jameson Williams
Brown caught four of eight targets for 48 yards in Monday’s loss to the Jaguars last Monday. This has been in line with the numbers that he’s been putting up in every game this season as he’s been a reliable WR2 option for Patrick Mahomes so far. He enters Week 6 in the 30-40 range of fantasy receivers across all scoring formats, making him a fringe Flex option in deeper leagues with upside if he scores.
One thing to note is that Rashee Rice is set to return from his six-game suspension next week, so Brown’s fantasy value may dip after Sunday’s game against the Lions.
Start or sit in Week 6 Standard leagues?
Sit. Again, unless you’re in a deeper league, there are better options to deploy as a Flex over him. He should get a handful of targets as he usually does, but I don’t anticipate him producing numbers that are worthy of a start.
Start or sit in Week 6 PPR leagues?
Sit.
