Welcome to the Week 7 waiver wire watch!

Another weekend of NFL action is in the books and if you can believe it, we’re already a third of the way through the 2025 regular season. We got a few dominant defensive performances over the weekend and as we approach the midway point of the regular season, it’s becoming easier to identify stream-worthy units with each passing week.

We’ll go over some Week 6 units that you should consider scooping off the waiver wire ahead of Week 7 and as always, we’ll classify a waiver add as someone who is rostered in 50% of leagues at the max.

Week 7 byes: Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills

Los Angeles Rams D/ST (44.5%)

The Rams cashed in on facing a depleted Ravens team on Sunday and were able to walk out with a 17-3 road victory to improve to 4-2 on the year. This was a fairly easy day for a defense that got the benefit of facing Cooper Rush and Snoop Huntley and they earned 17 fantasy points for the week with four sacks, two forced fumbles/fumble recoveries, and an interception in the contest.

L.A.’s D/ST exited Week 6 as a top-five fantasy unit in the entire league and they’ll head overseas to London next Sunday to face a Jacksonville team that just allowed Seattle to sack Trevor Lawrence seven times on Sunday. Things can get weird for offenses in these international games and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the Rams’ defense to dictate the terms of this matchup/

Kansas City Chiefs D/ST (32.1%)

Kansas City wasn’t perfect on Sunday, but it did do an effective job of limiting the explosive Detroit offense in a 31-17 victory. The Chiefs’ defense has been a middle of the pack unit with an average of 5.8 points through six games, so they’ve been a reliable group for managers who have decided to pick them up this year. Considering that Geno Smith has been a turnover machine that is getting sacked for an average of three times a game, KC’s D/ST has a real chance at putting together its best performance of the year when hosting Las Vegas next week.

Miami Dolphins D/ST (3.2%)

The vibes continue to deteriorate for the Dolphins both on the field and in the locker room and major changes may be imminent for the struggling 1-5 team. The defense in particular has been bad with the worst EPA in the league and they couldn’t finish the job in a 29-27 loss to the Chargers on Sunday. However, they do have a chance to get it together next Sunday against an ineffective Browns offense being led by Dillon Gabriel. Based solely on the matchup, I’ll take a risk and say to stream Miami’s D/ST for this week and this week only.
