Theo Johnson start or sit: Week 7 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of Theo Johnson ahead of the Giants’ Week 7 matchup vs. the Broncos.

The Giants are coming off a mini-bye and have a little bit of juice after doubling up the Eagles in a surprise 34-17 victory last Thursday night. Tight end Theo Johnson chipped in a contribution to a game where several of New York’s young players stepped up in the winning effort.
Below, we’ll go over Johnson’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 7.
Fantasy Football analysis: Giants TE Theo Johnson
Johnson caught just two of four targets for 27 yards in last Thursday’s win over the Eagles, generating less than five fantasy points in all scoring formats for Week 6. It was a downtick in production after scoring three touchdowns in the previous two weeks and what was notable was him not getting a single red-zone target in the victory. The second-year tight end’s fantasy value has been directly tied to the work that he’s done inside the 20, so that’s the risk fantasy managers take when putting him in their starting lineups.

Sit. And to that point, the Giants will be going up against a Broncos defense that has been nails inside of the 20. Denver has given up an NFL-low 30 points in the red zone this season with only three pass-catchers successfully grabbing touchdown passes. That doesn’t bode well for Johnson this week, so I’d leave him on the bench.
