Oronde Gadsden II start or sit: Week 7 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of Oronde Gadsden II ahead of the Chargers’ Week 7 matchup vs. the Colts.

The Chargers narrowly avoided their third straight loss last Sunday, getting back into the win column with a 29-27 road victory over the Dolphins. Rookie tight end Oronde Gadsden II had the most productive day of his pro career so far and we’ll see if he can keep that momentum going in Sunday’s matchup.
Below, we’ll go over Gadsden’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 7.
Fantasy Football analysis: Chargers TE Oronde Gadsden II
Gadsden caught seven of eight targets for 68 yards in the win over the Dolphins last week, an effort that generated 11.8 fantasy points in PPR leagues. Charger tight ends hadn’t really made much of an impact in the passing game prior to Week 6 and Gadsden’s performer could be a signal of things to come in the offense, especially with the number of injuries that they’re dealing with at the moment.
Notably, three of Gadsden’s targets last week came in the red zone. While he was unable to find the end zone, those numbers are a positive sign for what could be in store in the coming weeks.
Start or sit in Week 7 PPR leagues?
Start. The Chargers may have unlocked a new reliable option in the passing game and will be facing a Chargers offense that is allowing an average of 7.8 pass attempts and 58 yards to opposing tight ends. If you decided to pick up Gadsden after last week, I’d go ahead and give him a start this week.
