Zach Ertz start or sit: Week 7 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of Zach Ertz ahead of the Commanders’ Week 7 matchup vs. the Cowboys.

The Commanders couldn’t quite put the Bears away at home on Monday as a fourth-quarter fumble eventually led to a last-second field goal for a 25-24 loss. Veteran tight end Zach Ertz at least had a productive night and he’ll look to contribute to a win in this big divisional showdown at Jerry World.
Below, we’ll go over Ertz’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 7.
Fantasy Football analysis: Commanders TE Zach Ertz
Ertz hauled in all six of his targets for 43 yards and a fourth-quarter touchdown that gave the Commanders the lead last Monday. It was definitely a bounce-back effort for the veteran tight end after posting a goose egg in the stat column against the Chargers the week prior. With Terry McLaurin once again ruled out and Deebo Samuel dealing with a heel injury, Ertz may have to once again step up on Sunday.

Start. Last Monday’s performance may have gotten Ertz back on track and he’ll now face one of the worst defenses in the entire league. The Cowboys are giving up an average of 7.4 pass attempts and 55.8 yards per game to opposing tight ends, so there’s a chance for the veteran to do work on the road. Give him a nod this week.
