Week 7 of the 2025 NFL season is already upon us and the Sunday slate will wrap up with the Atlanta Falcons heading west to visit the San Francisco 49ers at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC.

The Falcons have won three of their last four games and made a big statement this past Monday with a 24-14 victory over the Bills. Tight end Kyle Pitts made a marginal contribution to the winning effort and the annual dilemma fantasy managers face with him is flaring up once again.

Below, we’ll go over Pitts’ outlook in fantasy football for Week 7.

Fantasy Football analysis: Falcons TE Kyle Pitts

Pitts caught three of four targets for just 18 yards in Monday’s win over the Bills, a steep drop-off from his 70-yard, one touchdown effort against the Commanders two weeks prior. The Falcons didn’t necessarily need a big night from him with both Bijan Robinson and Drake London going off, but this continues his career-long trend of showing off his potential in one game and completely disappearing in the next. We’ll see if he can post good numbers in this primetime showdown at Levi Stadium.

Sit. Pitts is going up against a 49ers defense that has been middle of the road against opposing tight ends this season, so it’s a toss up over whether or not he’ll post numbers worthy of a start. Considering that he only has one game where he’s accumulated double-digit fantasy points this season, chances are he’ll put up a so-so performance that’ll just leave managers frustrated. Bench him and look elsewhere.
