Week 7 of the 2025 NFL season is already upon us and the action will wrap up with a Monday night doubleheader. The first game will be a battle of top teams in the NFC with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers visiting the Detroit Lions at 7 p.m. ET on ABC/ESPN.

We break down the fantasy football outlook of Cooper Kupp ahead of the Seahawks’ Week 7 matchup vs. the Texans.

The Seahawks were able to get back into the win column last Sunday by traveling across the country and taking out the Jaguars in a 20-12 victory. Wide receiver Cooper Kupp played a big role in the winning effort and he’ll look to do the same in this primetime matchup.
Below, we’ll go over Kupp’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 7.
Fantasy Football analysis: Seahawks WR Cooper Kupp
Kupp had two receptions for 40 yards and a touchdown in last week’s victory over the Jags, marking his first trip to the end zone this season. The Super Bowl 56 MVP has taken a backseat to Jaxon Smith-Njigba as Sam Darnold’s No. 2 option this season and as a result, he only has one game with over 60 receiving yards so far.
He’s going up against a Houston defense that is yielding an average of 5.2 pass attempts and 55.9 yards to opposing WR2’s this season, which is just above his season average. We’ll see if he can exceed that in this Monday night matchup.
Start or sit in Week 7 PPR leagues?
Sit. Kupp may have a relatively productive outing in this one, but I don’t anticipate that it will move the needle in fantasy. Unless you’re in a deeper league and pressed for Flex options, I’d keep him on the bench.
