Welcome to the Week 8 waiver wire watch!

Another weekend of NFL action is mostly in the books and we’re quickly approaching the midway point of the 2025 regular season. Several kickers continue to have strong seasons and in many cases, have been the determining factor in fantasy matchups.

We’ll go over some Week 7 performers that you should consider scooping off the waiver wire ahead of Week 8 and as always, we’ll classify a waiver add as someone who is rostered in 50% of leagues at the max.

Week 8 byes: Arizona Cardinals, Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars, Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks

Will Reichard, K, Minnesota Vikings (5.6%)

Most of the Vikings’ points on Sunday came from Reichard’s leg, as he went a perfect 5-5 on field goal attempts along with a made extra point in the team’s 28-22 loss to the Eagles. His 18 fantasy points topped all kickers by the end of Sunday’s slate and it vaulted the second-year Alabama product into the top-10 in his position.

The Vikings will most likely need to rely on him on the road against the Chargers this week and the controlled environment of SoFi Stadium will present optimal conditions for him to have another strong effort.

Week 8 matchup: @ Los Angeles Chargers, 8:15 p.m. ET (Thursday night)

Nick Folk, K, New York Jets (7.9%)

The Jets are a complete mess and remain the NFL’s last remaining winless team at 0-7. But hey, at least Folk has been doing a bang up job! The veteran went 2-2 in Sunday’s 13-6 loss to the Panthers and is one of few kickers who has not missed a single kick this season. There are way worse options than the 40-year-old and even with the team’s ineptitude on offense, you can still bank on Folk drilling a few in any given game.

Week 8 matchup: @ Cincinnati Bengals, 1 p.m. ET

Jake Moody, K, Chicago Bears (5.1%)

A change of scenery can do a lot of good for a kicker’s confidence and that is apparently what’s happening with Moody at the moment. Cast off by the 49ers after a poor showing in Week 1, he’s re-emerged with two double-digit fantasy performances with the Bears, booting a game-winner against the Commanders in Week 6 before going 4-4 from the field against the Saints on Sunday.

The Moody reclamation project is something that could help the Bears moving forward and he’s someone worth looking into if you need kicker help at the moment.

Week 8 matchup: @ Baltimore Ravens, 1 p.m. ET
