Week 8 of the 2025 NFL season rolls on and the action will continue with a Sunday night showdown featuring the Green Bay Packers visiting the Pittsburgh Steelers at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC.

The Packers have won two straight heading into tonight’s matchup and were last seen escaping the desert with a 27-23 victory over the Cardinals last Sunday. Quarterback Jordan Love manned the helm under center for the victory and while he got the job done, his performance left a lot to be desired on the fantasy front.

Below, we’ll go over Love’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 8.

Fantasy Football analysis: Packers QB Jordan Love

Love went 19-29 through the air for 179 yards and a touchdown in last week’s victory over the Cardinals, also adding an additional 22 rushing yards to his stat line. It was his lowest passing output of the season and as a result, it generated just 13.4 fantasy points for managers who rolled with him as their starter in Week 7.

In a way, that perfectly represents what Love has been this season and that’s a QB that won’t blow you away with his numbers, but will do just enough to put the Packers in a position to win. For example, the sixth-year veteran is currently leading all starting QB’s in EPA per play, but barely cracks the top 15 in both passing yards and touchdowns. What’s resulted is him putting up 20+ fantasy points only twice so far this season, which can be either perfectly fine or extremely frustrating depending on the situation.

Start or sit in Week 8?

Start. Love has been a perfect middle-of-the-road fantasy QB this season and it truly is a coin flip decision over whether or not you should start him. He’s a good choice if you have the rest of your lineup in order and a bad choice if you need an explosive QB performance to get you over the hump. The Steelers are giving up an average of 20.1 fantasy points per game to opposing QB’s so for tonight, I’ll lean towards giving Love the nod.
