RJ Harvey start or sit: Week 9 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of RJ Harvey ahead of the Broncos’ Week 9 matchup vs. the Texans.

The Broncos have rattled off five straight victories and blasted the Cowboys in a 44-24 win at home last Sunday afternoon. Running back RJ Harvey was a central piece of that ‘W’ and we’ll see if he can duplicate that performance in Houston today.
Below, we’ll go over Harvey’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 9.
Fantasy Football analysis: Broncos RB RJ Harvey
Harvey lived in the end zone last Sunday, taking seven carries for 46 yards and two rushing scores on the ground and added a five-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter for good measure. It was a sudden explosion for the rookie after being quiet throughout the month of October and that performance allowed him to finish as a top-five fantasy tailback for the week.
Fantasy managers pegged Harvey as a top-25 running back before the start of the season, but the second-rounder out of UCF has been squarely planted in a backup role behind J.K. Dobbins, who put 111 yards on the Cowboys in that same game. Still, he’s shown flashes of why so many people were bullish on him heading into the season and it’s tantalizing enough for managers to give him some consideration.

Sit. Unfortunately for Harvey, he’s going up against a Texans defense that has been stingy against opposing running backs this year, only allowing 529 rushing yards total. Dobbins will handle the workload and Harvey will get just a smattering of touches throughout the afternoon. Last week was fun, but I’d keep him on the bench.
