Week 9 of the 2025 NFL season rolls on and the action will continue tonight with the Seattle Seahawks heading east to battle the Washington Commanders at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC.

The Seahawks are coming off their bye and were last seen putting away the Texans in a 27-19 victory two weeks ago. Running back Zach Charbonnet was a central figure in that win and we’ll see if he can carry that momentum forward even after the off week.

Below, we’ll go over Charbonnet’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 9.

Fantasy Football analysis: Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet

Charbonnet had a big night against the Texans two weeks ago, taking 12 carries for 49 yards and two touchdowns in the win. The third-year product out of UCLA has now crossed the goal line five times this season and that ability to consistently score has allowed him to be a top-40 fantasy running back in all scoring formats. Him and Kenneth Walker III have formed a formidable 1-2 punch through the first half of the season and it has been a cornerstone of a dangerous Seahawks offense so far.

Start or sit in Week 9 PPR leagues?

Start. Charbonnet has already proven himself to be a solid Flex option and he could once again come through for fantasy managers this evening. The Commanders have been a bottom-10 defense vs. running backs this season, giving up over 1,000 yards from scrimmage and seven touchdowns to the tune of 18.7 fantasy points per game. Charbs could eat in this primetime contest and I think he’s worthy of a start.
