Week 12 of the 2025 NFL season will kick off tonight with an AFC showdown featuring the Buffalo Bills visiting the Houston Texans at 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video.

A last-second field goal lifted the Texans over the Titans in a 16-13 victory on Sunday, allowing them to keep pace in the AFC playoff picture. Wide receiver Jayden Higgins offered a helping hand in the winning effort and he’s starting to emerge as a reliable option in the offense.

Below, we’ll go over Higgins’ outlook in fantasy football for Week 12.

Fantasy Football analysis: Texans WR Jayden Higgins

Higgins caught four of seven targets for 55 yards in Sunday’s win over the Titans, marking the third time in the last four games where he was targeted at least seven times. It was a nice showing for the rookie out of Iowa State and came just a week after he put a touchdown on the board in their huge AFC South matchup against the Jaguars.

Something to note is that the two most productive games of his pro career so far have come with Davis Mills starting and he’ll get the nod once again tonight with C.J. Stroud being ruled out of his third straight game with a concussion. We’ll see if the Mills-Higgins connection gets yields results tonight.

Start or sit in Week 12?

Start. Higgins is beginning to carve out a nice role for himself in the Texans’ offense and I imagine that continuing tonight with Mills once again operating the controls under center. Given how both the Dolphins and Bucs have been able to go up and down the field on this Bills defense over the past few weeks, it would not be a surprise to see Higgins come away with a touchdown in this showdown.
