Week 12 of the 2025 NFL season rolls on and the action will continue this afternoon with the Jacksonville Jaguars visiting the Arizona Cardinals at 4:05 p.m. ET on CBS.

The Cardinals were once again demolished in a 41-22 blowout loss to the 49ers last Sunday, effectively extinguishing the faint hope of them sneaking back into the NFC playoff picture down the stretch. Wide receiver Michael Wilson at least had himself a career day and he may be a go-to target for the rest of the regular season.

Below, we’ll go over Wilson’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 12.

Fantasy Football analysis: Cardinals WR Michael Wilson

Wilson finished Week 11 as the top fantasy wideout in PPR leagues, hauling in 15 of 18 targets for 185 yards to in last Sunday’s loss. This was a garbage-time special as the game was mostly in hand for the Niners at halftime. So much so that Jacoby Brissett completed an NFL record 47 passes in the loss, several of those obviously going to Wilson.

The third-year receiver obviously won’t get that many receptions in a game moving forward, but there is an appeal for him as a potential garbage-time sleeper in fantasy. He’s put up decent numbers with Brissett at QB over the last few weeks and with the Cards most likely playing from behind in most of their remaining games, he could be a solid play.

Start or sit in Week 12?

Start. Along with the late-season garbage time appeal, Wilson’s fantasy value for this game is boosted by Marvin Harrison Jr. being ruled out after having appendicitis surgery this week. He should be able to pad his stats with a boatload of targets this afternoon, so I’d slide him right into your starting lineup.
