Cam Ward start or sit: Week 13 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of Cam Ward ahead of the Titans’ Week 13 matchup vs. the Jaguars.

The Titans fell to 1-10 for the year in a 31-24 loss to the Seahawks last Sunday, but they have shown a pulse since the mid-season firing of Brian Callahan. Quarterback Cam Ward had a solid performance in the losing effort and he’s gradually showing why he was the top pick in this year’s draft.
Below, we’ll go over Ward’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 13.
Fantasy Football analysis: Titans QB Cam Ward
Ward had his best game as a pro in last Sunday’s loss to the Seahawks, racking up 256 yards with one passing touchdown and one rushing touchdown. The No. 1 overall pick actually finished as the No. 4 fantasy QB for the week with 23.9 points, marking the first time that he’s crossed the 20-point threshold through the first three months of his career.
Ward has had to battle through a difficult rookie campaign on the NFL’s worst team, but has shown flashes of his potential in recent weeks. Sunday’s game against the Seahawks was the third straight game the Titans lost by just one score and it marked the second straight game where the rookie completed at least 65% of his passes. He also hasn’t thrown an interception in a month and we’ll see if he can keep that up against a Jags defense that has the second-most in the league at 13.
Start or sit in Week 13?
Sit. I’d like to see Ward put together a few more noteworthy performances before considering him for a start, but the past few weeks should be encouraging for someone who drafted him in a dynasty league. The Jaguars are notably yielding 19.3 fantasy points per game to opposing QB’s, so that’s something to keep in mind.
