Week 14 of the 2025 NFL season will kick off tonight with a matchup of NFC playoff contenders featuring the Dallas Cowboys visiting the Detroit Lions at 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video.

The Lions didn’t have a happy Thanksgiving last week, falling to the Packers in a 31-24 loss that pushed them further down the NFC playoff pecking order. Wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa did make an impact in the loss and we’ll see if he can do the same in tonight’s must-win showdown.

Below, we’ll go over TeSlaa’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 14.

Fantasy Football analysis: Lions WR Isaac TeSlaa

TeSlaa had two receptions for 35 yards and a touchdown in last Thursday’s loss to the Packers, a stat line that was enough for him to finish as a top-30 fantasy receiver in all scoring formats for the week. His third-quarter trip to the end zone marked the rookie’s second career touchdown, with his first coincidentally enough coming against this same Packers team in the season-opener way back in September.

The third-round pick out of Arkansas saw a significant spike in his usage last week as he was on the field 92% of Detroit’s offensive snaps in the loss. That was mostly out of necessity with All-Pro Amon-Ra St. Brown tweaking his ankle and Kalif Raymond sitting out with an ankle injury of his own. Both of their statuses are in question for tonight’s showdown, so the Lions may have to lean on the rookie once again.

Start or sit in Week 14?

Start. A pre-game betting total of 54.5 suggests that this game will be somewhat of a shootout and the Lions will need to be firing on all cylinders to keep pace with the Cowboys. That means we can probably expect more targets for TeSlaa with both St. Brown and Raymond potentially out and I like the rookie as a potential Flex option for this week.
