Week 14 of the 2025 NFL season brought the playoff picture into full focus.

One of the biggest games of the day came to us from Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, as the Baltimore Ravens hosted the Pittsburgh Steelers in a critical AFC North matchup. These two rivals each entered the day with matching 6-6 records, with the Ravens holding a tiebreaker advantage based on their record in common games.

But the winner of today’s game was set to take over first place in the division.

That would be the Steelers, who improved to 7-6 on the year with today’s 27-22 win over the Ravens. With the victory, Pittsburgh moved into sole possession of first place in the AFC North at 7-6, while Baltimore dropped to 6-7 on the year. That not only drops the Ravens out of first place in the division, but Baltimore has fallen out of a playoff spot entirely. The Ravens are now in tenth place in the AFC, behind both the Houston Texans (7-5) and the Kansas City Chiefs (6-6).

Even if the Chiefs lose to the Texans later tonight, the Ravens would remain at No. 10, as Kansas City defeated Baltimore back in Week 4.

The Ravens now have the same record as the Miami Dolphins, but Baltimore wins that tiebreaker due to a win earlier this season over the Dolphins.

Looking ahead, the Steelers have these games left on the schedule:

  • vs. Miami
  • at Detroit
  • at Cleveland
  • vs. Baltimore

The Ravens finish their season as follows:

  • at Cincinnati
  • vs. New England
  • at Green Bay
  • at Pittsburgh

We will see what is at stake for these two teams in that season finale.
