Hello and welcome to the Week 15 waiver wire watch for quarterbacks!

It’s finally that time people. The fantasy playoffs are here. Every lineup decision you’ve made has built up to these next few weeks and whether you’re fighting to hoist the trophy or trying to avoid being your league’s “Sacko”, it’s time for you to lock in. So let’s start looking for ways to fortify your rosters for the first round of the postseason.

We’ll go over some QB performers that you should consider scooping off the waiver wire ahead of Week 15 and as always, we’ll classify a waiver add as someone who is rostered in 60% of leagues at the max. Bye weeks are officially over with, so every team will be in action from here on out.

Sam Darnold, QB, Seattle Seahawks (40.3%)

Darnold and the Seahawks obliterated the Falcons in a 37-9 blowout victory on Sunday and kept pace with the Rams in the race for the NFC West crown. The veteran had yet another productive afternoon with 249 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception through the air and even got to use his legs a little bit with 23 rushing yards also on his stat sheet.

Darnold has remained one of the more reliable QB’s in the entire league, still topping his peers with a 51.8% success rate while also ranking in the top 10 in passing yards, passing EPA, and ADOT. Averaging 15.4 fantasy points per game with a rostership of roughly 40%, he could be the missing piece for a fantasy manager needing a solid QB in the playoffs.

Week 15 matchup: vs. Indianapolis Colts, 4:25 p.m. ET

Trevor Lawrence, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars (50.8%)

The Jags’ latest victory was their most important one of the year as a 36-19 win over the Colts gave them sole possession of first place in the AFC South. Lawrence wasn’t the most efficient through the air, but he got the job done, as he threw for 244 yards off just 56.7% passing with a pair of touchdowns as Duval County’s finest picked up their fourth straight ‘W’.

Like Darnold, Lawrence has been one of the biggest bang-for-your-buck QB’s in fantasy this season, ranking in the top 12 despite only being rostered in half the leagues. Oh, what’s that? Is that the Jets I see on the schedule for this Sunday? Perfect time to jump on the T-Law train.

Week 15 matchup: vs. New York Jets, 1 p.m. ET

Jacoby Brissett, QB, Arizona Cardinals (37.4%)

The Cardinals were obliterated by the Rams in a 45-17 beatdown on Sunday but once again, you don’t care about their misfortune. You’re here for Brissett numbers and we can report to you that he once again had a solid stat line for fantasy purposes, throwing for 271 yards and two touchdowns with one interception in the loss. The Cards are just letting him rip as they play out the string of this miserable season as that was his fifth straight game with 40+ pass attempts, resulting in his fifth game with 20+ fantasy points this year.

Kyler Murray is officially done for the year and there’s a distinct possibility that we’ve seen the last of him in an Arizona uniform. That means the lane is wide open for Brissett to keep throwing all over the yard for the rest of the season and who knows, the career journeyman may earn himself a spot on the roster for next year.

Week 15 matchup: @ Houston Texans, 1 p.m. ET

Tyler Shough, QB, New Orleans Saints (7.7%)

The Saints stunned the Buccaneers in a 24-20 upset on Sunday and Shough was able to pick up his most significant win in his short stint as a starter. The rookie threw for 144 passing yards and an interception, but made his hay running through the rainy conditions at Raymond James Stadium, going for 55 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground in the NFC South shocker.

His 22.3 fantasy points made him a top-10 fantasy QB for the week and he’s been gradually gaining more confidence as the season has rolled on. The Saints truly have nothing to lose for the rest of the year and sometimes, that’s when first-year starters like Shough can be the most dangerous.

Week 15 matchup: vs. Carolina Panthers, 4:25 p.m. ET
