The Steelers were able to maintain their grip at the top of the AFC North standings last Sunday, surviving a 27-22 rivalry showdown against the Ravens. Running back Kenneth Gainwell ended up playing a big role in the win and he’ll surely have more opportunities to make an impact as they push towards the postseason.
Below, we’ll go over Gainwell’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 15.
Fantasy Football analysis: Steelers RB Kenneth Gainwell
Gainwell got a healthy amount of touches in last week’s victory over the Ravens, taking four carries for 15 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground while also catching six of seven targets for 27 receiving yards through the air. Pittsburgh’s run game as a whole wasn’t very productive in the victory, but Gainwell’s six-yard TD scamper allowed the Steelers to go up by two scores in the second half.
That notably marked the third time in his last four outings where Gainwell touched the ball at least 10 times, proving himself as one of the more reliable backups in the league behind Jaylen Warren. We’ll see if that carries on Monday.

Start. The Steelers have been finding ways to get the ball into Gainwell’s hands and he’s been delivering. I like the chances of him putting another touchdown on the board this week, so I’d put him into a Flex spot.
