Update: There is concern that Micah Parsons tore his ACL in the Green Bay Packers’ Week 15 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday. The team hasn’t confirmed the injury yet. He’ll have an MRI on it soon.
Update: Micah Parsons has been ruled as questionable to return to Sunday’s contest vs. the Broncos.
Green Bay Packers defensive end Micah Parsons has exited the team’s Week 15 showdown against the Denver Broncos with a knee injury. The All-Pro suffered the injury while trying to get after Broncos QB Bo Nix and had to be tended to by Packers trainers before being helped to the locker room.
Parsons injury is a major blow to a Packers team that just lost wide receiver Christian Watson earlier in a tight contest with the Broncos. The multi-time All-Pro has lived up to the hype in his first season with the organization and entered Sunday tied for third in the NFL in sacks with 12.5 for the year. Green Bay is currently vying for both the NFC North title and the No. 1 overall seed in the conference, so the star defensive end missing any amount of time would be a major blow to those aspirations.
This post will be updated as more info about Parsons’ injury becomes available.
