Best DFS picks for Dolphins at Steelers in Week 15

Week 15 of the 2025 NFL season wraps up tonight with an AFC showdown featuring the Miami Dolphins visiting the Pittsburgh Steelers. Pittsburgh enters as a 3-point home favorite, with an over/under of 43.5. The Dolphins are riding a four-game win streak heading into this matchup but would be eliminated from playoff contention with a loss tonight. Meanwhile, the Steelers could maintain a one-game lead on the Ravens in the AFC North race with a win.

Below, we will take a look at the best DFS plays for this Monday night showdown.

Achane did plenty of damage in just one half of their 34-10 victory over the Jets last Sunday, taking seven carries for 92 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground while also adding a 13-yard reception to his stat sheet for good measure. He ended up leaving the game in the second quarter with a rib injury and head coach Mike McDaniel confirmed afterwards that he could’ve returned, but was held out of precaution.

The third-year back will be good to go for tonight’s showdown and has by far been the surest commodity for the Miami offense this season. He is one of eight backs to have already crossed the 1,000-yard mark for the year and he continues to lead the league in both yards per carry and explosive run rate. Averaging 19.7 fantasy points per game in DFS, Achane in a captain’s spot is a no brainer.

Pittsburgh’s offense has been up and down in recent weeks and Metcalf has remained the most reliable target for Aaron Rodgers during that stretch. The veteran Pro Bowler is fresh off his biggest game of the season, where he caught seven of 12 targets for 148 receiving yards as the Steelers held off the Ravens in a 27-22 victory maintain their lead atop the AFC North standings.

Metcalf’s production has been tied to the moves that he makes after he hauls in a pass as his 374 yards after catch ranks ninth among wide receivers this season. He’s going up against a Dolphins defense that has given up the 12th most YAC in the league this year, so there’s an opportunity for him to turn a handful of short passes into big gains tonight.

Gainwell got a healthy amount of touches in last week’s victory over the Ravens, taking four carries for 15 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground while also catching six of seven targets for 27 receiving yards through the air. This was the third time in the last four games where he recorded at least 10+ touches, so he’s become an integral part of the scheme as they fight for a division title late in the season.

The Steelers have been finding ways to get the ball in his hands and with Jaylen Warren listed as questionable with an illness, they may need to lean on him even more tonight.

Gordon punched in a fourth-quarter touchdown in last week’s victory over the Jets, marking the rookie’s fourth trip to the end zone of the season. What was noteworthy was fellow backup Jaylen Wright getting significantly more carries after Achane exited the game as he ended up taking 24 carries for 107 yards and a touchdown of his own. That will most likely prove to be an anomaly as Gordon should still get his usual workload as Miami’s RB2 for this evening.

Freiermuth has been just a bit player for the Steelers offense this season, but can pop up with a big play from time to time like his touchdown grab against the Bears a few weeks back. However, he does have a favorable matchup for tonight considering that the Dolphins have given up the fourth-most receiving yards to opposing tight ends this season along with seven touchdowns. It would not be a surprise to see the veteran have himself a good night at home.

And similar to Freiermuth, Dulcich has poked his head in with a handful of chain-moving receptions over the past few weeks and is getting plenty of snaps in the offense. He’s going up against a Steelers defense that has also been vulnerable against opposing tight ends with the unit giving up eight touchdowns to the group this season. It’s possible that we could see him grab his first touchdown of the season for tonight.
