Michael Carter start or sit: Week 16 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of Michael Carter ahead of the Cardinals’ Week 16 matchup vs. the Falcons.

The Cardinals’ miserable season carried on with a 40-20 drubbing at the hands of the Texans last Sunday, marking their sixth consecutive loss to drop them to 3-11 foe the year. Circumstances paved the way for running back Michael Carter to have himself a nice game individually and we’ll see if he can do it again this afternoon.
Below, we’ll go over Carter’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 16.
Fantasy Football analysis: Cardinals RB Michael Carter
Carter had one of his most productive games of the entire season in last Sunday’s loss to the Texans, registering 14 carries for 56 rushing yards on the ground and also caught all four of his targets for 38 receiving yards through the air. The fifth-year veteran had a heavy presence within the offense and was even on the field for a season-high 80% of the offensive snaps.
Of course, this came as a result of Bam Knight exiting the game early with an ankle injury and his season is officially over after being placed on injured reserve this week. That marks the third Cards RB to get placed on IR this year and there’s an open lane for Carter to tote the rock for the rest of the way.
Start or sit in Week 16?
Start. The Cards’ offense have been garbage time kings over the past few months and their just letting Jacoby Brissett and company rip as the season draws to a close. That now includes Carter and he’s bound to get plenty of touches in today’s showdown. He can benefit your playoff lineup as a sneaky Flex option, so the green light is on to start him.
