Isaac TeSlaa start or sit: Week 16 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of Isaac TeSlaa ahead of the Lions’ Week 16 matchup vs. the Steelers.

The Lions fell to the Rams 41-34 last Sunday and they’re starting to enter the danger zone as they will be officially eliminated from the NFC North title race with a loss today. Wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa has been getting a bunch of playing time in recent weeks and we’ll see if he’ll be called upon in this late-season showdown.
Below, we’ll go over TeSlaa’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 16.
Fantasy Football analysis: Lions WR Isaac TeSlaa
TeSlaa was a complete non-factor in last week loss to the Rams as he only had one target with zero catches for the afternoon. This happened despite him being on the field 63% of their offensive snaps and it was certainly a disappointment for fantasy managers who trusted him after he scored a touchdown in each of the prior two games. We know that Dan Campbell can pull tricks out of his bag at any given moment, so it will be interesting to see if TeSlaa re-emerges as a red-zone target today.
Start or sit in Week 16?
Sit. Pride of Detroit’s Al Karsten pointed out that since Campbell has taken over as the play-caller, the Lions’ success rate on offense has been 10% better when TeSlaa is off the field vs. when he’s on the field. The team has more success when it sticks to its already established stars and unfortunately for the rookie, he’s not going to get many opportunities to shine in games like today that have high stakes. Keep him on the bench.
