Week 17 of the 2025 NFL season will wrap up on Monday night with an NFC showdown featuring the Los Angeles Rams visiting the Atlanta Falcons 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN.

The Rams came out on the losing end of a game-of-the-year contender last Thursday, falling 39-38 to the Seahawks in an overtime loss that cost them their NFC West lead. A loss on Monday would knock them out of contention for both the division title and the No. 1 seed in the conference, so they’ll have to lean on weapons like running back Blake Corum to prevent that from happening. They can also help their own draft positioning considering that they own the Falcons’ first-round pick for next year.

Below, we’ll go over Corum’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 17.

Fantasy Football analysis: Rams RB Blake Corum

Corum had himself a productive night in last Thursday’s loss to the Rams, taking 14 carries for 48 rushing yards and a one-yard touchdown that extended the Rams’ lead in the third quarter. That’s now five touchdowns in the last five games for the second-year back from Michigan as he’s been Mr. Reliable for the offense in multiple facets, especially the red zone.

The young back has really come on for L.A. in the second half of the season and has been a top-25 fantasy running back over the last month in particular. Averaging 5.3 yards per carry, he’s really distinguishing himself among RB’s with at least 100 carries for the season, leading the group in both EPA per rush and success rate. We’ll if he can continue his tear in Atlanta on Monday night.

Start or sit in Week 17?

Start. Corum has been one of the more effective backups in the entire league this year and the Rams would be smart to continue to feed him carries even with starter Kyren Williams also producing at a high level. He’s an easy start in a Flex position and there’s a high chance that he’ll find the end-zone yet again on Monday.
