Philadelphia Eagles opponents 2026: Who’s on the schedule, how easy or hard will their schedule be

The Philadelphia Eagles won the NFC East in 2025. We already know their 2026 opponents and what it means for their playoff chances next year.

The defending Super Bowl champions didn’t have a smooth return to the NFC East title, but they persevered and got it done. Offensive line injuries seemed to be the catalyst to some decreased efficiency from Saquon Barkley, along with the tush push. The team averaged the 24th most yards per game compared to eighth-most last season, while they scored the 20th-most points compared to the fifth-most last season. The defense remained strong though, helping the team continue their winning ways.

The Eagles will look to defend their crown in the playoffs, but in the meantime, we already know the teams they will face in the 2026-27 NFL season.

Philadelphia Eagles 2026 schedule analysis

The Eagles will have nine home games and eight road games next season pending the announcement of the matchups for the 2026 international games. Besides their own division, the NFC East will face the NFC West and the AFC South next season, while the Eagles will face the first place teams from the NFC South, AFC North, and NFC North.

The one division you’d like to not see on your schedule is the NFC West. They had the three best records in the NFC and they had to play each other. The AFC South got better this season, as both the Texans and Jaguars have come on strong, while the Colts started 8-2 and likely would have been in the hunt if Daniel Jones hadn’t have been injured. The NFC East was pretty bad this season, but the Commanders will get Jayden Daniels back, the Cowboys offense was arguably the best in the league this year, and the Giants, well, there is a sliver of hope in there if you like Jaxson Dart.

Overall, this schedule isn’t one I’d want my favorite team to have, but steel sharpens steel or something.
