Tennessee Titans opponents 2026: Who’s on the schedule, how easy or hard will their schedule be

The Titans missed the playoffs in 2025. We already know their 2026 opponents and we’ll take an early look at the slate.

The Tennessee Titans entered the 2025 season with low expectations and it went just about as poorly as many envisioned with them finishing with a dismal 3-14 record. The team was just flat out uncompetitive against superior opponents and second-year head coach Brian Callahan was shown the door in the middle of the campaign, prompting questions of why they didn’t fire him the prior offseason. This practically made Cam Ward’s rookie season a wash as the No. 1 overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft took his lumps, but showed brief flashes of his potential throughout the year.

Whoever the organization tabs as the new head coach will be tasked with getting Ward and company moving on an upward trajectory in 2026 and we at least know who they will face during the campaign.

Tennessee Titans schedule analysis

The Titans will have eight home games and nine road games next season pending the announcement of the matchups for the 2026 international games. The rotation will include matchups against the entire NFC East and AFC North, along with their usual six divisional games within the AFC South. Since they finished fourth in the division, they will be matched up with the last-place finishers of the NFC North (Vikings), AFC West (Raiders), and AFC East (Jets) to round out the 17-game schedule.

The Titans have a pretty manageable schedule on paper with just six matchups against 2025 playoff participants, four of them being in their own division against the Jaguars and Texans. Their toughest game will be a home matchup against the Eagles and with a last-place schedule, they have a shot at improving their win total with matchups against the Raiders, Giants, Commanders, and Browns. Of course, these teams could always improve next year, but this is a favorable slate for a second-year QB like Ward to take the next step.
