The Chicago Bears came back for a wild 31-27 win over the Green Bay Packers in Saturday’s Wild Card matchup. The Packers jumped out to a 21-3 lead and looked like they would cruise to victory. But as we’ve seen this season, the Bears win the un-winnable games. They fought back with a 25-point fourth quarter and won it in the closing seconds.

Chicago Bears’ next playoff opponent

Sunday result: The 49ers beat the Eagles to close out the NFC’s Wild Card Round. The win means the Bears will host the Rams in the Divisional Round.

The Bears will host either the Eagles or the Rams in the Divisional Round. If the Eagles beat the 49ers, Chicago would host Philly next weekend. If the 49ers upset the Eagles, Chicago would host LA in the Divisional Round.

History vs. the Los Angeles Rams

Record: 54-38-3 regular season, 1-1 postseason all-time

The Bears beat the Rams 24-18 at Soldier Field a year ago. The two teams haven’t met in the playoffs since 1986, when the Bears beat the Rams 24-0 in the NFC Championship en route to their Super Bowl victory over the Patriots.

Early Divisional Round odds

Spread: Rams -4.5
Total: 50.5

Chicago Bears playoff history

The Bears return to the Divisional Round for the first time since 2011. They were the No. 2 seed that season and had a first round bye. They beat the Seahawks in that round and then lost to the Packers in the NFC Championship. This marks their 13th appearance in the Divisional Round.
