Micah Parsons is looking to hire someone to grind ‘Arc Raiders’ for him

Micah doesn’t want to play around.

Micah Parsons may be down for a few more months with an ACL injury, but that doesn’t mean he’s willing to spend his time building up a loadout in Arc Raiders. The Packers’ pass rushing superstar is looking to pay $500 for someone willing to grind the game for him.

I’ll say this about Micah: At least he’s being transparent about wanting to pay someone to put the work in. It’s not like Elon Musk pretending to play Path of Exile II, getting caught knowing nothing about the game, and then admitting he was paying a lackey to level his character.

That said, as a die-hard Arc Raiders player with an embarassing amount of hours in: I’m a little mystified why Parsons wants someone to grind this game for him. Firstly, the levels exist — but the skill tree really it’s that meaningful after you max out stamina in the middle tree. Does he want all the blueprints? Sure, they’re the most coveted items — but only insofar as the options it presents you with to maximize a build. Furthermore, due to the random nature of loot in Arc, you’re just as likely to find the Tempest or Looting lvl 3 (Survivor) in your first run, as your 1,000th.

Building out your inventory and looting those blueprints is the reward for playing. It’s really the only reward for your time. Opening a locker to find a coveted weapon or blueprint, then the anxiety of trying to extract is what makes the game so great. Paying your way to lvl 75 and having access to everything doesn’t make the game better, or more fun, or easier — hell, most of the low tier weapons are infinitely better than the epics. So I’m a little confused what Micah is looking for out of Arc Raiders.

Good luck to him for finding whatever he’s looking for. Also, please don’t accept $5 an hour to grind Arc Raiders for Micah Parsons.
