Kyle Shanahan accidentally smashed a TV trying to upstage Andrew Luck

The Super Bowl is about more than the two teams playing the game, with people around the league flocking to San Francisco to be a part of the festivities. This included 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan, who got a little too carried away as part of a friendly ball toss.

Both Roger Goodell and Andrew Luck gently tossed passes to onlookers, but Shanny needed to make a statement and asked someone to go long. Instead of giving a light, beach-like throw he rifled the ball with all his might to the back of the room, colliding with a TV and breaking it in the process.

The best part of this is how Shanahan just kind of sheepishly smiles after making the throw. He doesn’t really care that he smashed a TV, he’s infinitely more proud of the fact that he threw a spiral across the room and showed up Andrew Luck .
