We take a look at what color the post-game Gatorade shower was in the Seahawks Super Bowl 60 victory.

The Seattle Seahawks put on an impressive defensive display on Sunday and beat the New England Patriots 29-13 in Super Bowl 60. The Seahawks secured the second Lombardi Trophy in franchise history and got revenge on their crushing loss in Super Bowl 49.

This game wasn’t quite the blowout of last year, but Seattle pulled away in the fourth quarter and was able to enjoy the final half of the final frame. That also meant we did not need to wait until time expired for the traditional Gatorade shower. Seahawks Fullback Brady Russell and linebacker Patrick O’Connell dumped Gatorade on head coach Mike Macdonald after the final whistle and gave him a yellow bath to celebrate the victory.

Normally we don’t know the color of the Gatorade until it is dumped on the coach. This year, we actually saw the yellow Gatorade being stirred after the Patriots failed to convert their onside kick attempt at the 2:21 mark. But the Gatorade shower came after the game ended as the Seahawks celebrated their victory.

Here’s some video of the Gatorade shower.

Heading into Super Bowl 60, FanDuel Sportsbook offered odds in Canada on the color of the Gatorade shower. Blue was installed as the favorite at -140. Yellow/Lime or Green followed at +260 and Orange was +360. It dropped a fair amount from there with Purple installed at +1100, Red/Pink at +1400, and Water or a Clear liquid at +1500. Last year, the Eagles dumped yellow Gatorade on head coach Nick Sirianni.
