Welcome back to another year of the SB Nation Community Mock Draft!
NFL mock draft 2026: New York Giants select Denzel Boston, WR, Washington
The Giants add a red zone weapon in the physical Denzel Boston out of Washington in the SB Nation Community Mock Draft

As we do every draft season, all 32 NFL sites at SB Nation come together to fill out an entire first-round mock draft leading up to the actual event that takes place from April 23-25. One by one, our site managers will make their picks and provide their reasoning behind the selection. From there, I will provide further analysis on top of giving a final opinion on the pick!
Without further ado, let’s keep things rolling!
With the 25th overall pick in the 2026 SB Nation Community Mock Draft, Big Blue View’s Ed Valentine and the New York Giants select Denzel Boston, wide receiver, Washington!
Valentine’s analysis:

SB Nation NFL Mock Draft: With the 25th pick, the New York Giants select ...
Denzel Boston, WR, Washington
Now that the Giants actually have traded Dexter Lawrence, getting the 10th overall pick in return, I feel smart for having dealt him in this mock to get additional assets.
If Ohio State defensive tackle Kayden McDonald had been available, he would have been the pick. Instead, I will take a big-bodied, contested-catch wide receiver as an additional weapon for quarterback Jaxson Dart.
My analysis: I like this pick for the Giants because it is a completely new skillset added to the wide receiver room that they did not have entering the draft. There’s a lot of speed in that room for Dart to throw to but Malik Nabers (coming off a torn ACL) is the only player with the chops to go up and consistently make plays in the end zone. Boston gives New York another set of strong hands attached to a big body who knows how to use it when fighting through contact.
I think this pick will make life quite a bit easier for Dart as he continues to grow into being a NFL quarterback.
