Week 5 NFL Scores And Results: Bucs Surprise Bengals With Second Straight Loss, 24-21

Three interceptions by Carson Palmer spoiled big games by Terrell Owens and Cedric Benson. And gave timid coaches an argument against trying to score instead of playing for overtime.

Sabby Piscitelli picked off Palmer’s final pass, putting Connor Barth in position to turn the tie into a win.

On the previous Bengals drive, a Palmer interception gave the Bucs the ball at midfield, allowing Josh Freeman to put together the tying drive.

Yes, the Bengals were up by seven with three minutes to go and still managed to lose.

Benson and Owens both went over 100 yards, with Mike Williams falling a yard short of the century mark.
