Week 5 NFL Scores And Results: Raiders Rely On Campbell, Defense To Drop Chargers, 35-27
Jason Campbell piloted a go-ahead drive late, and the Raiders' defense sealed the 35-27 win with a strip of Philip Rivers that was returned for a touchdown.
Rivers threw for 431 yards and two touchdowns in defeat. The Chargers had two punts blocked and fumbled twice in a disastrous first quarter, but rebounded to lead from the second quarter until late in the game.
The result moves both teams to 2-3. San Diego is 0-3 on the road this season.
