Thunderstorms have pushed back the start of the Vikings-Jets Monday night contest at the New Meadowlands 20 minutes because of thunderstorms.

Just before 8 p.m., the field and stands were cleared because of lightning being sighted. Players returned to the field to warm up not long after, but the official start was still moved back. A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect in the area through 10 p.m.
