Patriots Reacquire WR Deion Branch For 4th Round Pick In Trade With Seahawks
After posting career highs for the Patriots in 2005, the year before he was traded, Branch was mostly a disappointment in Seattle, constantly battling injuries and never besting the 53 catches for 725 yards and four touchdowns he put up his first season with the Seahawks.
Branch was the MVP of Super Bowl XXXIX for the Patriots, tying a Super Bowl record with 11 catches. But Branch held out for a longer contract in 2006 and was traded by New England.
