Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco is having an outstanding day against the New England Patriots, but a timely hit from safety Patrick Chung broke up what would have been Flacco’s third touchdown pass of the day, intended for Derrick Mason. Instead, the drive stalled, and a Billy Cundiff field goal gave Baltimore a 20-10 lead early in the fourth quarter at Gillette Stadium.
Flacco had three completions of fifteen or more yards on the drive - two of them going to Mason, the other to Todd Heap. On the day, Flacco has clearly outplayed Tom Brady, completing 20 of 24 passes for 226 yards, with two touchdowns, no interceptions and a quarterback rating of 133.7.
