Instead, the drive stalled, and a Billy Cundiff field goal gave Baltimore a 20-10 lead early in the fourth quarter at Gillette Stadium.

Flacco had three completions of fifteen or more yards on the drive - two of them going to Mason, the other to Todd Heap. On the day, Flacco has clearly outplayed Tom Brady, completing 20 of 24 passes for 226 yards, with two touchdowns, no interceptions and a quarterback rating of 133.7.
An illegal contact penalty on Brandon Meriweather kept Baltimore’s drive alive after Anquan Boldin dropped a perfect Flacco throw in the end zone thanks to a big hit from New England’s secondary. Meriweather has had two critical penalties in this game, with a personal foul on a helmet-to-helmet hit in the first half on his record as well.
