Jimmy Clausen Benched; Panthers Will Go With Matt Moore In Week 7
Panthers head coach John Fox confirmed on Monday that Clausen will go back to the bench in Week 7 and QB Matt Moore would return as the starting QB.
Clausen had a miserable three-game stretch. His “best” game was a 11-of-21, 146-yard, one touchdown performance in Week 5.
He completed over 50 percent of his passes just one time in that three-game stretch and did not surpass 200 yards passing in any game or more than one touchdown in any game.
