Kevin Kolb Has ‘Pretty Good Chance’ To Start Week 7, Andy Reid Says

Michael Vick was the Eagles emergency third quarterback in Week 6 against the Falcons. It looks like he's headed for the same role in Week 7 against the Titans.

Eagles head coach Andy Reid said on Monday that if he had to guess today it would be Kevin Kolb, and not Vick, starting in Week 7.

“Michael is making progress, but if he had to play today he wouldn’t be able to play, he’d be able to practice a little bit but he’s not full speed yet,” Reid said. “If he felt like he does today, it would be a reach. . . . There’s a pretty good chance Kevin’s the guy this week.”

Kolb has been lighting it up in Vick’s absence the last two weeks and the Eagles have a Week 8 bye so this move would seem to make the most sense.
