Titans Vs. Jaguars: Let The Merciful Clock Bleeding Begin

The Titans closed out the third quarter with a 12-play, 55-yard field goal drive that took about eight minutes off the clock. And so a grueling, plodding and generally listless prime time contest gets that much closer to completion.

That might sound a touch presumptive with 7 minutes left in regulation, but the man responsible for a 20-point comeback, were one to occur, is Trent Edwards. A Jaguars win here would be hailed as one of the more improbable in Monday night history. Though it would introduce at least some element of excitement to this game.

Oh, and the Jaguars are huddling and running up the gut inside the Titans’ 10 down three scores.
