The NFL trade deadline always causes lots and lots of talk but little action. This year shouldn’t be much different.
NFL Trade Deadline Is At 4 P.M. On Tuesday
The deadline is at 4 p.m (eastern). That means any NFL trades -- and we’ve heard some good trade rumors -- need to be submitted before then. Here are a few of the rumors floating around:
- Panthers WR Steve Smith is not available
- Ravens RB Willie McGahee may be available
- Every Raiders player is available
The big names like Vincent Jackson seem unlikely to go anywhere because of the cost associated. For many teams, they don't want to give up a second round draft pick for a proven player because that second round draft pick is immensely cheaper than a proven player. Many teams have cut back their spending.
