Kenny Britt caught his second touchdown of the day, an 80-yarder from Kerry Collins, to put the Titans a field goal away from the lead. Speaking of field goals, we’ve been lucky enough to enjoy several of those as well, with David Akers and Rob Bironas both hitting a pair since halftime.
Philadelphia Eagles Vs. Tennessee Titans: Kenny Britt Bomb Closes Gap, Rob Bironas Puts Titans Up
Britt is up to 188 yards, already the biggest game of his career. He has all but 49 of Kerry Collins’ 237 yards, as the Eagles have all but taken away Chris Johnson. Johnson has only 51 total yards, well behind LeSean McCoy’s 96.
Kevin Kolb has thrown for 226 yards on 43 attempts without DeSean Jackson. Jason Avant, McCoy, Jeremy Maclin, and Riley Cooper have filled the void, with each accounting for 40 or more yards.
Philly has dominated time of possession, FWIW, which is probably not much when Tennesse’s capable of one-play, 80-yard scoring drives. The Eagles have converted 10 of 16 third downs.
