Raiders Destroying Broncos In First Half, Clearing Way For Extended Tim Tebow Action
Oakland leads Denver 38-7 in the second quarter, and led by a 38-0 margin with eight minutes left in the period. Everything’s gone wrong for the Broncos, who have fewer yards passing and rushing than the Raiders have points, and committed three turnovers within 30 yards of their own goal line.
And it could be going even better for the Raiders, who had two touchdowns nullified by penalties ... then scored touchdowns on those drives anyway.
The Broncos have already allowed more points in a half than all but two teams allowed in the early games, and giving Tebow playing time in the second half might actually be the best course of action at this point. Maybe he can find his NFL destiny as the second coming of Frank Reich.
*I’m kidding. I think.
