Brett Favre threw three interceptions in the second half, including one that was returned for a touchdown, as his Minnesota Vikings fell to the Green Bay Packers, 28-24, in a thriller from historic Lambeau Field.
Vikings Vs Packers: Brett Favre Says, ‘For Me, It’s Devastating’
It’s been a rough week for Favre. He said on Sunday after the Packers downed the Vikings that he feels like he let everyone down.
With three picks in a tight game that’s probably what Favre should feel like. The Vikings are now in serious trouble at 2-4 and much of the blame, particularly in this game, can be traced back to Favre.

As for the other quarterback....yeah, it wasn’t a good day for Vikings QB Brett Favre. He threw three picks on 16-of-29 passing and it just wasn’t a very good day for him.
The Packers seem to be coming together at the right time -- they’re 4-3 in the NFC North -- while the Vikings appear to be falling apart. Check out Acme Packing Company for more on Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.

“It still goes back to taking care of the football. You can’t throw it to them. They have to play within the confines of our system....you can’t give seven points going the other way, not in a game like this.”
On whether or not Favre’s two picks were forced:
“Yeah, the one to Bishop, I’d have to look at that cause I’d like to know where we’re going with the football, cause I believe the play was designed to go to the other side and I think Percy’s standing there in big air so not sure why we’re looking at the left-hand side...”

Percy Harvin came one foot away from giving the Vikings the lead over the Packers with a minute left on Sunday night. It was not to be on 1st and 30, however. That right foot refused to land in bounds.

Brett Favre’s killer interception to Desmond Bishop wasn’t quite as killer as one might have initially thought. With the Packers taking what seemed to be a commanding 28-17, the Vikings drove down the field to make it a one-score game with a 58-yard drive capped by a four-yard Randy Moss touchdown reception.
It was the first Randy Moss touchdown at Lambeau Field since the controversial mooning touchdown in the 2004 playoffs that got Moss fined. That fine, of course, prompted the famous “straight cash homey” quote from Moss. Somehow, it’s unlikely this TD will produce quite as much press.

The usually solid Minnesota defense has allowed 228 yard at the midpoint of the second quarter against the Packers on Sunday night. Nevertheless, the Vikings have been able to hold it close by forcing one red zone turnover against Green Bay and responding with touchdowns from Percy Harvin and Adrian Peterson.
Should you think the Vikings defense has momentarily lost focus and didn’t realize which league he was playing in, let it be known that the back of the head of defensive end Ray Edwards is officially licensed NFL property.

Aaron Rodgers came into the 2010 season already subsumed in the category of elite quarterbacks. Last season he certainly had the stats to support that. The numbers are decidedly less convincing this season, especially since Rodgers has eclipsed his interception total in 2009 in only seven games in 2010.
On the Packers’ first offensive drive, the team drove inside the Vikings’ red zone, but Rodgers attempted to throw a screen to running back Dimitri Nance, but was intercepted by Jared Allen. It was Rodgers’ eighth interception of the season, passing his mark from the year before.
