Mathias Kiwanuka’s Neck Injury Expected To End His Season

Clearly something isn’t right with the injury because Kiwanuka hasn’t played since Week 3. That he was on the roster to this point suggests the Giants figured he had a chance of returning. However, it was revealed last week that there’s been virtually no change to his status.

Doctors are “very optimistic” that it will heal but it’s something that will take time. The Giants feel that the healing process will take long enough that it renders his placement on IR.
