Kevin Kolb Will Start Week 7 Vs. Titans; Michael Vick Will Be Backup
The news shouldn’t come as much of a surprise since Reid said earlier this week that there’s a “pretty good chance” Kolb will start.
Jason La Canfora of NFL Network writes that he expects Vick should be able to see some action as he recovers from a rib injury. Initial reports on Vick had him missing several weeks. Sunday’s game, if he does not play, will be the third game he’s missed.

Original reports on Vick suggested he would be out 2-6 weeks. This is the second week so anything they could get from him would be a bonus but it shouldn’t be expected that he’ll play at all.

Vick did not practice on Thursday making is seemingly less likely he’ll be available to play on Sunday.
Initial reports had his injury pegged at 2-6 weeks but it’s a good sign that we’re even questioning whether he can play in Week 6.

The only other quarterback that the Eagles have on the roster is rookie Mike Kafka to fall back on if something were to happen to Kolb. Look for the Eagles to possibly add veteran free agent to act as a stop gap while Vick is out.

Jay Glazer, speaking on Fox’s postgame show, reported that
was x-rayed during the game and the results came back negative.Glazer also reported that Vick’s injury involves both his ribs and chest, and that Vick is “still in a lot of pain.” He will be examined further on Monday.
