Mark your calendars: Halloween is going to be a little more exciting this year.
After Trade To Vikings, Randy Moss Will Face Patriots On Halloween
With the Randy Moss to the Vikings trade nnow complete, it's time to look at the Vikings upcoming schedule. Their next four games are among the toughest stretches in the NFL this year:
- at Jets: Monday Night Football will be Moss's first game as a Viking since Jan. 16, 2005.
- Cowboys: Dallas' name has been floated as a team that was interested in Moss back in '07 and as recently as early in 2010.
- at Packers: When Brett Favre was with the Packers in 2007, he pushed for the Green Bay front office to make a move for Moss. Ultimately they declined and he was shipped off to New England. Favre, now with Moss on his side, will face his former team.
- at Patriots: Moss's return to New England comes on Halloween.
Schedules don’t get much tougher than that and they don’t usually include so many story lines.
